Samrat Gupta, Informatics Specialist
Samrat Gupta is a Software Engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation in Noida, India who in his spare time will be supporting CAGH as an informatics specialist. He completed his Bachelors in Engineering from Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh. While at PEC, he did undergraduate internships at Wipro Technologies and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). He has been active in Healthcare ICT since 2009 and has served the National Health Service's (NHS) National Program for IT (NPfIT). He has also contributed to Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation (ATNF), Chennai, India through his research work on eHealth, mHealth and Telemedicine. He is interested in improving quality of life by enhancing health outcomes across the globe. He likes to stay fit and enjoys running in his spare time. Engelbert (Bert) Niehaus is a Full Professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Head of the Computer Science Centre University Koblenz-Landau Campus Landau. His area of expertise are in Mathematical Modelling and Computer Science, particularly in areas relating to public health. He has been collaborating with CAGH since it's inception.
He has been a key supporter of Action Team 6 Follow Up Initiative or AT6FUI http://at6fui.weebly.com especially the Open Community Approach - http://at6fui.weebly.com/open-community-approach.html . The Open source/Community approach is a core focus of his interests. Bert has also been a member of the Expert Focal Group on Health under UN COPUOS, OOSA. |
